Summer Camps for Blind Youth
Summer of Fun
Foresight Adventure Guides for the Blind is thrilled to offer another opportunity for blind and low vision youth to push through barriers, build confidence and increase self-esteem. Foresight’s Summer Camp for Blind Youth is for any blind or low vision child between the ages of 10-21.
2027 dates will be announced after the first of the year.
Campers meet in the Vail Valley for three days of fun and outdoor adventure. Activities may include hiking, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, river rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing and more.
New activities and experiences are being explored for 2027 so check back!
Come meet new friends or reconnect with old ones.
Foresight’s camp is a place where kids can be kids… vision optional! It is a safe place for youth who are blind or experiencing low vision to get outside and empower themselves through goal-oriented adaptive recreation.

Summer Camps 2026
Campers who joined us this summer enjoyed three days of adventure exploring the mountains on hiking trails, digging for dinosaur fossils and learning about the massive creatures that roamed this area millions of years ago, and floating down the Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon on a raft.
Friendships were strengthened, self-assurance reinforced and everyone had a doggone fun time.
Summer Camps 2025
Another Summer of Fun is in the books for Foresight!
We welcomed 26 youth campers to the Vail Valley this past July for hiking, stand up paddleboarding, rock climbing, tubing and coaster fun at Epic Discovery on Vail Mountain, rafting and dinosaur bone digging! There were plenty of activities to keep everyone happy and busy.
