Jamie Harris – Board Member and Guide

Jamie is a Colorado native and has been skiing Vail since 1966. He received an Economics degree from the University of Colorado then moved east to work in investment banking. Soon after, Jamie started his own full service commercial real estate firm specializing in shopping centers. After 15-years Jamie decided to break off on his own, buying and operating shopping centers in and around the Denver Metro area. His areas of expertise include financing, operations and acquisitions.

Jamie now works part time in real estate and began volunteering with Foresight in 2019. Jamie quickly realized that the work Foresight does for its visually impaired clients is life changing. Combining his love of skiing with guiding at Foresight has been so impactful he’s recruited his wife of 31-years, Leanna, and their daughter and son in law. Jamie and Leanna have three children and now live most of the year in the Vail Valley.
