In the meantime, we are working on some outreach and recruitment events, our annual pancake breakfast fundraiser, and planning and preparation for the season. Additionally, this past spring we welcomed some new members to our Board and changed Board leadership. More to come on that later in this newsletter.
We had another fantastic summer of camps. Lots of new faces from all over the state. Thanks to those new faces, outreach efforts are underway to welcome new school districts to the youth learn to ski program.
We are also casting a wider web in hopes of attracting more blind and low vision adults this season. If you haven’t skied with us recently, please consider returning to Vail or Beaver Creek this season. We’d love to get reacquainted.
If you have interest in training to become a guide please get in touch. We are always recruiting good guides, winter and summer. We are also looking for volunteer assistance during the youth learn to ski days. If interested in learning how you can help please contact me.
Hopes are high for a busy and enriching ski season. Come be a part of it. You won’t regret it.
